The crushing weight of eternal time bore down heavily on God's shoulders. Boundless knowledge and effortless control had dulled into a monotonous drone. He craved the bitter taste of defeat, the fierce joy of earned success, the wild, messy allure of mortality. So he devised a daring plan.
Initially, he molded a form of sheer possibility, christening it Zeno. Within Zeno, he locked the sum of his godly might, the wild, infinite strength that marked his grand life.
But for his own essence, he took on a vulnerable, breakable human form. He confined his essence to a loop of reincarnation, a dim ember of the primal blaze, erased of past knowledge and power upon each demise.
