Ares Revenge
Okay so my thing this week was supposed to be Greek myth smut for some Dionysus festival or whatever but I clicked the wrong link and ended up with Ares Revenge. The whole premise is you're the god of war, Ares, and you wake up in 2013 after getting your ass kicked in 1918 by your stepsister. Which, yeah, that stepsister is Wonder Woman. I don't remember any comic where Diana is related to Ares like that but honestly who cares, the setup is just an excuse for what comes next. The CG hentai art style is rough. Like, deliberately rough. Lines are kinda thick, anatomy gets weird in certain poses, and there's this one scene where her lasso looks more like a glowing garden hose. But the corruption path is what I'm here for. You slowly chip away at her will, and the dialogue gets nastier as her icon on the screen literally starts looking more debased. There's a moment where she calls you "brother" with this mix of hatred and something else and I had to put my phone down for a sec. I wish the choices branched more though, most lead to the same three renders with slightly different text. Won't be fixed, I checked the dev's page, they abandoned this years ago. The whole thing runs in browser which is convenient I guess. I was playing on my phone during a work call, the kind where you just mute yourself and nod. The sound design is nonexistent, just silence, so I had to pull up some ambient Olympus thunderstorm video on YouTube to set the mood. Pathetic, I know. But there's this one late game scene where she's fully corrupted and the power dynamic flips in a way that made me actually say "finally" out loud. The static images don't animate but the artist knew exactly which single frame to freeze on, her eyes half lidded and that stupid tiara knocked askew. For a forgotten browser game from who knows when, it hits a specific itch even if it stumbles getting there.
