Multiple Choices ★ 3.4
The Blue Secret v0.9.1 [Completed]
The first time she kills you, it’s almost tender. A soft giggle, a flash of something sharp, and the screen goes red with that wet squelch sound. Then you’re back at the start, her head tilted, asking if you want to try again. Yandere-chan, or whatever her name is, doesn’t just want your blood. She wants you to guess the right answers in her twisted little dating sim. Get it wrong and she opens you up. The blood spatter effect is cheap, like someone just threw a red PNG over the character sprite, but it works. It really works. The whole thing runs on that janky Renpy engine where you can almost feel the default menus underneath. The sex scenes are what you’d expect from a hentai VN made by someone who really, really focused on the knife sounds. Stiff poses, the usual moaning text, but there’s this one CG where she’s on top and her eyes are just. Dead. Like two glass marbles. I couldn’t stop staring at it. The choices are mostly guessing games, which is the whole point, but sometimes the logic is so broken you’ll pick the obviously nice option and she’ll decide that means you want to be fileted. That’s the horror part, I guess. Not knowing if the game is bugged or if she’s just that insane. Reminds me of trying to get a good ending in that old School Days anime, except here the bad end is the point. Spent way too long on one loop where I kept picking the blue dialogue option because it seemed safe. It wasn’t. The survival tag is no joke, you’re managing her mood like a tamagotchi made of razor wire. There’s no escape, not really, just different flavors of consequence. The adult content is explicit but the real sticky stuff is the dread between choices. You’ll be clicking through dialogue about her favorite color and your hand is sweating because you know the wrong answer leads to a close-up of your own guts. Top devs by legacy? This one’s a footnote, a bloody little experiment that doesn’t care if you finish. I respect that. The music is a ten-second loop that will drill into your skull. I muted it after the third death and just listened to my own breathing.

Ashes
Jane Moran is not your typical game protagonist and I think that's what got me. She's a lawyer, a mom, and she's watching everything fall apart. The world is literally dying around her and she's just trying to keep it together. The art style, that CG hentai look, is deliberately rough. Not unpolished in a lazy way, more like someone drew this while the world was ending too. It fits. I spent way too long on one choice about whether to help some guy or just walk past. The game says there's no right or wrong but my stomach was in knots. Consequences just stack up and you don't know which ones will bite you later. There's this monster encounter early on, and the violence is sudden and messy. Then later Jane hooks up with someone and it's just as sudden. She's this serious professional woman but the game doesn't shy away from her wanting a good hard fuck. The sex scenes are explicit, full on hentai CGs, and they hit different when you've just been making life or death decisions. The mother angle. I keep forgetting to mention it properly. Jane has a kid and that hangs over everything. You see her being a lawyer, being a survivor, being a sexual being, but the mom part is always there in the background making you second guess every choice. What kind of world is she leaving for them? The game doesn't let you forget even when she's taking some monster cock or whatever. It's weirdly grounding. I wish the inventory system was clearer. Or maybe there isn't one? I clicked around for ages trying to figure out if I had items or not. Small thing but it nagged at me. The adventure tag is doing a lot of work here, it's more like a desperate road trip through hell with occasional sex breaks. Not complaining exactly. Just don't expect a happy fun time. The monsters are genuinely creepy and the sex is hot in that "we might die tomorrow" kind of way. Jane deserves better but also she's kind of terrible and I respect that.
Fantasy ★ 5.0
Once Again Ch.1
The superhero costume in this game is a fucking disaster and I love it. Not in a so bad it's good way, more like someone's drunk aunt designed it for a Halloween party and forgot half the fabric. The main girl, the one you're supposed to save, she's got this cape situation that defies physics in a way that has nothing to do with superpowers. It just floats. Not dramatically, just... hovers like it's confused about gravity. Her top is basically a suggestion. I spent the first ten minutes just staring at the character art trying to figure out if the artist had ever seen a real bra before. The MILF character though, she actually looks like she knows what she's wearing, this elegant dress that somehow makes the whole time travel premise feel more grounded. You're this guy who died and woke up a year earlier, right, and now you can do whatever. Win money, stop bad shit, the usual power fantasy checklist. But the game keeps asking if you're fucking up the timeline every time you try to get laid. It's like the universe is your cockblock. The romance paths are weird because you can see the consequences of your choices immediately, sometimes in the same scene. I picked a dialogue option that seemed flirty and suddenly the weather changed. Not joking. The supernatural elements just show up unannounced like that. The CG hentai scenes are where the unpolished thing really shows. Some are genuinely hot, this one with the older woman where the lighting actually makes sense for once, and then the next scene looks like it was rendered on a phone from 2016. The multiple choices thing is cool until you realize half of them lead to the same conversation but with different color text. I wish the superhero stuff mattered more to the sex scenes, like use the powers during, you know? There's this moment where you can literally stop time and the game doesn't let you be creative with it. Missed opportunity. The visual novel format works fine, clicking through text, making choices, the usual. Sometimes the writing forgets what tense it's in, which is funny for a time travel story but probably not intentional. I got genuinely invested in saving the town though, which surprised me because I was mostly here for the tits. The willpower mechanic they mention in the description is just picking options, nothing fancy. Still, there's this one scene where you have to choose between getting information or getting head, and the game actually remembers what you picked later. That's more than most porn games do.

The Survival of Sarah Rose v0.9.9.9
The first time I opened this I clicked through maybe four choices and got Sarah drowned in a swamp. Not even a sexy swamp. Just dead. That's the thing about The Survival of Sarah Rose that nobody mentions when they're busy posting the CG hentai screenshots on f95zone. The princess fantasy is basically a meat grinder wearing a tiara. What gets me is how the game remembers. Not just the obvious branching paths where you end up a royal diplomat or a brothel's star attraction, but the little stuff. There's this meta-story layer that tracks your previous runs, and sometimes characters will say things that only make sense if you've seen Sarah fail before. It's like the game is gaslighting you. One playthrough I had her refuse a noble's "protection" and ended up fighting wolves barehanded. Next run, different choices, and a guard mentions hearing rumors about a woman who survived the northern woods. That was me. That was my dead Sarah from three runs ago. I had to put my phone down and stare at the ceiling for a bit. The roleplay system is where things get properly unhinged. You can play Sarah as a cunning survivor or a complete disaster, and the game doesn't judge. Actually that's a lie, it judges constantly. The consequences tag isn't kidding. I tried a "pure" route where she rejects every advance and it turns out the fantasy world doesn't care about your virtue signaling. She just gets eaten by the plot. Literally in one ending, there's a monster. The sex scenes are fully illustrated and honestly too good for how brutal some of the context is. You'll be enjoying a nicely drawn encounter and then remember oh right, this is happening because she failed three survival checks and the alternative was starvation. The female protagonist angle works because Sarah feels like an actual person making terrible decisions, not a doll being posed. I still haven't found half the endings and I'm not sure I want to. Some paths feel like the game is daring you to be a worse person than you thought you were.
