Fantasy Adventure ★ 2.3 (+18) Into the Forest Ch.1 the loading bar is a joke right? like a deliberate bit of trolling. i tabbed out to check discord, came back, still loading. my pizza rolls got cold. but then erza shows up and honestly? worth. the art style is that crunchy compressed jpg look but somehow it makes the whole thing feel like a lost newgrounds classic from 2006 that your parents definitely didnt know you were playing. there's this one scene where she just stares at you with that "i'm going to kill you but also maybe kiss you" expression and my brain short circuited. i forgot how words work. the dialogue is actually unhinged in the best way. like someone fed a fairy tail wiki through a shitpost generator and then added tits. there's a bit about guild funding that made me snort monster energy out my nose. the humor lands way more often than it should for a porn game. i kept clicking just to see what dumb thing they'd say next, completely forgetting about the lewd scenes until they hit me like a truck. and when they hit, they HIT. the pacing is weird though, some scenes feel rushed while others drag on forever with text boxes. the sound design is basically nonexistent which is a crime. my keyboard clicks were the soundtrack. speaking of which, the patreon exclusive scene thing is a bit of a blue balls move but i respect the hustle. the full screen HD version probably fixes the weird window size issue where i had to squint to read some text. but the compressed version has its own charm, like watching scrambled cable channels back in the day hoping to see a boob. the cute girls tag is accurate, erza carries the whole thing on her armored shoulders. i wish there was more interaction though, it's mostly just clicking through text with occasional choices that dont seem to matter much. or maybe they do and i just picked wrong? who knows. the fantasy adventure part is there in spirit if not in actual gameplay. just embrace the chaos and dont expect a coherent plot. the funny bits make up for the jank.
