The futa content hits like a truck if you’re not expecting it. I wasn’t. There’s this scene with Kate, the tall one, and I won’t spoil it but the game doesn’t give you a gentle introduction. It just... happens. And then you’re sitting there wondering why the music is still so damn relaxing. The Spanish translation is a nice touch, though I played in English. Mary’s athletic thing never really goes anywhere interesting, which bugged me. She’s just kind of there. The whole thing feels like a fever dream where everyone’s hiding something and Aki’s innocence is a resource to be spent. Which, I mean, that’s the point. Just wish the UI wasn’t so clunky when you’re trying to, uh, focus.
