Asuka's arc in particular is this weird slow burn where she's your business partner but also clearly into you but also somehow the last one to get corrupted, and by the time the titfuck scene in the back office finally unlocks you've almost forgotten why you were pursuing it. The sandbox structure means you can mostly ignore the parts you don't care about. I spent an embarrassing amount of time optimizing the menu prices and completely neglecting the actual dating sim elements until I realized the maids were all stuck at affection level 2 and I was essentially running a legitimate business.
