F.F.Fight
Yuffi's foot comes down and the screen shakes. That's it. That's the game. There's this bar on the right, the big one, you need to fill it by poking at these girls with options that would make even the most degenerate Visual Novel player from the early 2000s blush. The small bar, the one you don't want to fill, ticks up on its own. A stupid, anxious little line that reminds me of trying to not wake up my parents while fumbling with a dial-up connection. The whole thing is a race, a weirdly tense mini-game of rubbing and clicking while Yuna, Tifa, Seri, and Rikki just... loom. They're gigantic. Not just tall, but "I can see the individual skin pores on her sole" gigantic, a perspective that feels less like a fetish and more like a practical study in scale. It's an interface built for domination, but the mechanics are a slot machine in a dungeon. You pick a spot, a tool, a rhythm, and pray the big bar wins the sprint. The art is, how do you say, deliberately unpolished, like a rough sketch that got colored in a hurry. But that's the charm, right? It's not trying to be one of those glossy, big-budget renders you find in, I don't know, some $60 production. It's more like discovering a weird.swf file on a forgotten corner of the internet. The Final Fantasy inspiration is a blatant wink, a "you know who this is supposed to be" nudge that's more honest than most. I was playing another Dancing Queen game before this, something with a slime, and the jank here is a familiar, almost comforting flaw. A consistent imperfection. Wait, I was talking about the bar. The pacing is a plate of cold appetizers. You keep nibbling, a click here on a thigh, a hold there on a neck, expecting a main course. The scene changes, a new angle, a louder moan from Yuna that crackles just a tiny bit in my headphones. But the loop is the appetizer. Forever. I spent five minutes just trying to perfectly balance a tease on Seri, forgetting completely that the small red bar was about to ruin everything, and when it did, I laughed. Not because it was fun, but because the failure state is just a reset. No fanfare. Like a haiku that ends before the third line. You just start again, the giantess foot hovering, ready to descend with all its unpolished, low-poly glory.
