Eros Alliance [Alpha v1.4.0]
This sprite work, Jesus. The captain's idle animation has this micro-sway that's actually pretty good, a real weight shift from hip to hip that most of these browser games don't bother with. But then she turns and her arm just... phases through her own torso. Not a clipping issue I mean the frames just skip. It's like watching a flipbook with pages torn out. I spent five minutes just making her pivot in place near the airlock on Deck 3, fascinated. The opening scene drops you right into a negotiation with some slimy station administrator. He's offering a pittance for a cargo run and the dialogue options actually let you be a real bastard about it. I chose to threaten him, not expecting much, and the game just rolled with it. His sprite didn't change expression obviously, nobody drew a scared face for him, but the text shifted. Suddenly I'm not just clicking through, I'm leaning forward. That's the whole loop, really. You wander this grimy station, talking to pixel people with maybe two poses each, and the writing does all the heavy lifting. The adult content is blunt. You find a rival merc in a bar, lose a drinking contest because the RNG is a cheating bastard, and wake up in her quarters. The scene that follows is described with the same flat, almost bored tone as the inventory management. "She removes her jacket. You are already undressed." It's weirdly effective. Clinical, almost. Like reading a mission report that got wildly off-topic. The contrast between the janky sprites and the explicit text creates this strange, hypnotic effect. I kept hitting R to open my inventory just to see if my pants were still listed as equipped. They weren't. One of the dialogue prompts later asked if I wanted to steal her data pad. I did. She caught me. The resulting punishment involved a storage closet and a zero G harness. I hadn't realized the game even had a zero G mechanic. The control prompts flashed W A S D but my character just floated there, helpless. It was the most honest depiction of getting caught I've seen. The whole thing feels like someone's half-finished RPG Maker project that got possessed by a very specific, very committed ghost.

Engineers of Shadow-Moon Station v0.1.1
The first time you get a handjob in zero-G, the animation stutters like a slideshow made by someone who just discovered Blender last Tuesday. And honestly? That's the whole vibe of this thing. It's a sci-fi dating sim set on Shadow-Moon Station where you're an engineer slash corporate spy, which sounds cooler than it actually plays out. You spend most of your time clicking through dialogue trees that feel like they were translated through three different languages before landing in English. "I am feeling the romance for you," a character actually says at one point. I laughed so hard I almost closed the tab. But then the sex scenes hit and suddenly I'm not laughing anymore. There's this one moment with your assigned partner, the one you're supposed to be investigating irregularities with, where she just... looks at you. The creampie finish isn't even the best part, it's the way her eyes go half-lidded during the oral scene earlier, like she's genuinely lost in it. The 3DCG models have that plastic sheen but the animators understood something about timing, about the pause before a touch lands. Multiple endings my ass though. I got the same "corporate conspiracy uncovered but at what cost" ending twice even after picking different romance paths. The lesbian route with the station administrator? Hot as hell but it dead-ends after two scenes with no resolution. I kept thinking about that abandoned plot thread while clicking through another vaginal sex scene that was animated better than it had any right to be. The choice system pretends to matter. Love at first sight versus slow burn romance, sure, except the slow burn just means you get the same scenes but later and with more dialogue about trust exercises. There's this one moment where you can choose to investigate a suspicious cargo manifest or go have drinks with your love interest. I picked drinks. The cargo manifest never came up again. The game just forgot about it. I respect that kind of narrative chaos honestly. It feels like the writers were making it up as they went and sometimes that works for horny space drama and sometimes it doesn't. The moon station setting is just a jpeg background that repeats in three different colors. I wish there was more actual espionage in the sex scenes, like using pillow talk to extract information, but that's never gonna happen. The game is what it is. A janky, surprisingly hot, narratively broken mess that I've already played through twice.
