I failed the first six times because I was staring at her tits instead of the timing bar, which honestly feels like the intended experience. The art is deliberately rough, like someone drew it on a napkin during detention, but the proportions are absurd in the best way. Every female character has a chest that defies physics and the male guard's bulge is practically a third nightstick. There's this one scene where you hide in a locker and the warden leans against it, and the whole screen just becomes cleavage and uniform buttons straining. I kept messing up the click pattern on purpose just to see the fail state animations, which are more interesting than the actual escape gameplay. The reflex checks are twitchy and unforgiving, probably by design, and the hitbox on the warden's patrol route is nonsense. I threw my mouse once. The consent angle here is a trainwreck and that's clearly the joke. Hugh is a convicted peeper trying to break out of jail, and every interaction is him being a sneaky little gremlin while the prison staff remain obliviously sexy. It's wrong and the game knows it's wrong and it's not trying to be anything else. The uniform textures are surprisingly detailed for such a janky project, and the police hat stays on during everything which is a nice touch. I spent way too long on the shower block sequence where the timing window is like two pixels wide. My wrist hurts. The whole thing feels like a Newgrounds flash game that survived the purge and got hornier.
