About this game
Another lazy parody VN that thinks slapping tits on a schoolgirl is enough. Airhead Academy. The title alone tells you what you're getting into, and yeah, it's exactly that. Some college where every female character has the IQ of a wet cardboard box and the body of a hentai pinup. The corruption tag is doing heavy lifting here, but it's more like... gentle nudging. You're a teacher, supposedly, though you look like every generic faceless protagonist ever drawn. Your job is to, uh, educate these students in ways the dean definitely wouldn't approve of.
The CG hentai scenes are the only reason anyone clicks on this. They're fine. Not great, not terrible. The artist clearly spent all their time on the anatomy and zero time on backgrounds. One scene in a classroom has a desk that looks like it was drawn by a child with a crayon while the girl bent over it is rendered in loving, glistening detail. Priorities, I guess. The corruption path is linear as hell. You pick a girl, you pick the obvious dialogue choice, she blushes, things escalate. There's no game here. It's a slideshow with extra steps. I did laugh when one of the teacher characters, Ms. Kobayashi or whatever her name was, catches you and instead of reporting you she just... joins in? The writing is so absurd it circles back to being entertaining, like watching a bad movie at 2x speed.
What bugs me though, and I can't let this go, is the sound design. Or lack of it. There's a looping track that's supposed to be sexy but sounds like elevator music composed by someone who's only heard jazz described to them. And the moaning. God. It's the same three voice clips recycled for every character. By the third scene I was reaching for the mute button faster than the protagonist reaches for his zipper. You'd think with all the effort put into the art they'd spend five minutes on audio that doesn't make you want to puncture your eardrums.
Anyway the student council president has a scene that's almost worth the download. Almost. The whole thing feels like it was made in a weekend by someone who just discovered what a visual novel is. Not the worst way to kill an evening but you'll forget it exists by morning.
