About this game
Listen, the castle stuff again. Alancy, Malfort, Florian with his “education,” yeah yeah we’ve been here. She already got the obedience beatdown in part one, so now it’s the advanced course. And by advanced I mean this Florian guy basically throws her into the deep end of a very specific pool. Group stuff, BDSM parties, the whole “this is just Tuesday in our castle” vibe. The wife tag is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, because it’s not just random dungeon crawling, it’s this weird domestic corrupted fairytale where her “tests” are just... well, you know.
The 3D is rough. Like, genuinely, sometimes the camera angles during the quest bits make it look like everyone’s elbows are trying to escape their bodies. But there’s a plastic-y charm to it, right? A lady at one of the parties has a harness that I think clips through her shoulder blade for a solid three minutes and nobody cares, least of all her. It adds to this uncanny feeling that somehow makes the whole thing dirtier. You forget about clipping when the training drills down on this very specific kind of ownership fantasy. The bdsm here isn’t artsy, it’s more like a checklist of “things Florian wants to see.” And that lack of polish, that almost janky execution, weirdly sells the humiliation angle more than some shiny AAA game ever could. It feels like a private mod someone forgot to clean up.
I got distracted for twenty minutes trying to click on a chandelier during one of the orgies because I was convinced it was a hidden quest item. It wasn't. It's just a poorly placed static object. But that’s the thing, the quests aren’t about the chandelier, they’re about Alancy keeping her head down, or up, depending on the task. The gameplay is mostly just clicking through dialogue and waiting for the next scene to load from that point. If you’re not into watching a character’s will get systematically dismantled by a guy called Florian who runs a castle of bad decisions, then the loading screens will bore you to tears. One minute you’re at a regular party, the next it’s a full on scene because she wandered into the wrong room. The whole thing runs on that logic. Just a series of wrong rooms. For her. For us, it’s the right ones I guess.
