About this game
The whole thing feels like a fever dream I had after watching a Fellini film on fast forward. There's no grass, no sand traps, just a felt table and a cue stick. You're putting golf balls into holes, but the holes are on a billiard table, and the scorecard is measured in removed clothing. It's like someone described the concept of sport to an alien who only had access to late night Cinemax and a broken physics engine.
The blonde model, she's just standing there with this patient, slightly bored expression, like a saint in a medieval painting waiting for the inevitable. I kept expecting her to check her phone. The mechanics are janky, the ball physics feel like they were coded by a committee of drunk squirrels, and the collision detection for the holes is a cruel joke. I spent a solid minute lining up a shot, only for the ball to clip through the edge of the pocket and roll off into digital purgatory. I wanted to scream. The audio is a loop of what sounds like a royalty free smooth jazz track that has been compressed to hell and back, a perfect sonic companion to the visual chaos.
You get a flash of skin for every successful putt. It's a striptease as a reward loop, pure and simple, the kind of thing that makes you feel like a lab rat pressing a lever for a pellet. The arcade DNA is strong here, but it's been spliced with something much more desperate. It's not sexy, not really. It's more like a weirdly compelling piece of outsider art. I wish the game would just commit to being a proper billiards sim with a weird erotic twist, but the golf part keeps intruding, a constant reminder that you're playing a game that can't decide what it wants to be. The whole thing is a beautiful, broken mess.
