About this game
Strip Blackjack Chess. Yeah, that's the actual name. No poetry, no pretense. Just a blonde with a sharp bob cut and an expression that says she's already bored of your strategy, sitting across a board that's like a chessboard had a baby with a deck of cards. The whole thing runs on a weird grid, 8x8, and you're not moving knights or rooks. You're placing cards. Trying to hit 21 on rows and columns. It's blackjack, but it's also sudoku for degenerates. My brain kept trying to calculate card values and spatial positioning at the same time and honestly, the first few rounds I lost my shirt without her even having to take off her bra.
The logic part is the real strip. You screw up a row, she smirks. You bust a column, a piece of clothing vanishes. The animation is... well, let's call it functional. It's a real model, not some hyper rendered fantasy, and the video clips have that slightly compressed, early 2000s digital camera vibe. It's not smooth. It's jittery in a way that somehow makes it hotter, like you're watching a forbidden QuickTime file from a forgotten corner of the internet. The striptease is slow, almost clinical. She doesn't dance. She just... removes. A strap falls. A zipper goes down. It's the lack of performance that makes it feel more intimate, or maybe just more awkward. I can't decide.
The chess part is a total lie by the way. There are no chess rules. The board is just a grid. I spent ten minutes trying to figure out if I could en passant a queen of hearts before realizing I'm an idiot. The blackjack rules are also a little fast and loose with what counts as a win condition on intersecting lines. Complained about it to my cat. He didn't care. The game doesn't explain the payout logic for diagonal combos and it still bugs me. But then she'll lose the skirt and suddenly I'm not thinking about probability anymore. The whole thing is a bizarre, unpolished gem that feels like it was coded in a weekend by someone who really, really wanted to combine two things that should never be combined. Dare to play it alone, or invite company?
