About this game
The blonde just stands there, arms crossed, looking bored while you fumble around for a hundred bucks. Real model, sure, but the way she sighs when you miss another card makes it feel personal. Royal Flush is this weird hybrid where you're playing poker but also not really. Cards fall from the top of the screen like some kind of broken ATM and you move a hand left and right to catch them. That's it. That's the whole mechanic. Catch cards, make pairs, get money.
I spent way too long trying to grab a ten of hearts while a seven of spades bounced off my fingers. The physics feel like they were coded during a lunch break, everything's a bit floaty and imprecise. You need a hundred dollars to make her strip and you start with nothing. Ten cents here, twenty five cents there. It's grinding in its purest form. Like one of those mobile games where you watch ads for gems except here you're just catching digital playing cards and hoping for a flush. A pair of jacks got me two dollars once and I actually felt something. Not pride exactly but something.
The arcade catcher thing mixed with strip poker sounds better on paper than it plays. There's no real strategy beyond "don't miss" and the card distribution feels random in the bad way, not the exciting way. You'll get four kings in a row then nothing but twos for minutes. The girl's animation when you finally hit that hundred dollar mark is... fine. She takes off her top with all the enthusiasm of someone waiting for a bus. The whole thing runs in browser, no download needed, which is convenient if you're into this sort of deliberate unpolished aesthetic. Or maybe it's just unpolished. Hard to tell sometimes.
