The dystopian setting is basically "horny jail but make it gothic." That's the vibe. Not sure if intentional but it works. The two routes thing, they say equal effort but the harem path feels more fleshed out. Or maybe I just prefer the absurdist comedy over the horror. The virgin protagonist thing gets old fast but the cosplay scenes, when they finally happen, are worth the wait. Like you can't trust what you're seeing. The teasing is brutal. Not just from Sophie, who goes from sweet wife to something else entirely depending on your choices, but from the whole situation. There's this one scene early on where she's just sitting on the couch, and the way she looks at her phone and then back at you, the dialogue options are all pathetic and you know you're already losing. The romance path is there but it feels like a trap. I wish the stat tracking was less obtuse, sometimes you make a choice and have no idea why it unlocked something until way later. The humor is dark, like genuinely uncomfortable laughs when Alex is being a complete doormat and the game just lets you stew in it. The branching is where it gets wild. You think you're playing a simulator about fixing a marriage and then suddenly there's mind control and you're watching your wife get railed by some guy named Marcus while a doctor takes notes. The cuckold stuff isn't just there for shock value, it's woven into the conspiracy which is a choice I guess. Some paths have Sophie's tits practically spilling out of everything while she explains how you were never enough, and the writing actually makes you feel the humiliation. The virgin tag is misleading though, Alex is married, but he's so inexperienced and pathetic that it might as well count. There's a moment in the MKULTRA route where you have to choose between looking at evidence or looking at Sophie's ass and the game knows what you'll pick. It always knows. The AI CGs in those scenes are weirdly hot, like someone fed a neural network nothing but hentai and 50s propaganda posters. Teasing ★ 5.0 New Hanna's Life Chapter 1 I dunno why the AI CG tag made me laugh before I even opened this. Like, you know what you're getting. That slightly glossy, same-face-syndrome look where every expression is just... mouth open, mouth slightly more open. The Hanna character has these big wet eyes that follow you around like a sad puppy who also wants to show you her tits. Which, I mean, that's the game. The corruption path is weirdly paced. One minute she's crying in a refugee center, the next she's getting fingered behind a language class. There's this scene with her landlord that I kept thinking about later, not because it was hot exactly but because the dialogue was so bizarre. He says something like "you pay rent with your body now" and she just nods. No internal monologue, no hesitation. The game forgets she's supposed to be traumatized until it needs drama again. I spent way too long on the voyeurism mechanic. You can peek through keyholes and stuff, which is fine, but sometimes the perspective doesn't line up and you're just staring at a wall texture while moaning plays. The cheating tag is there but it's more like... she's cheating on people you never met? Some boyfriend from the old country who gets mentioned once and never again. Like a running gag the writer forgot was a gag. The masturbation scenes use this weird sparkle effect that made me think my graphics card was dying.
