About this game
I tracked 47 different stat checks before my first ending. Forty seven. And I still got the one where Nathan gets turned into a breeding stud for the elven vanguard. Not even mad about it.
The ACA recruitment officer has these massive tits barely contained by her uniform and she's explaining the war crimes happening in Veskar like she's reading a weather report. Something about the tonal whiplash works. You're filling out forms, picking your specialization, trying to remember which dialogue option raises combat versus charisma, and the whole time there's this tension building. The nightmares Nathan has about his family aren't just lore dumps. they're genuinely disturbing. One scene had me staring at the screen trying to figure out if that shadow in the corner was a sprite glitch or something watching me.
The monster girls aren't what you'd expect. The beastling diplomat you meet in chapter two has this whole thing about territorial rights and reproductive autonomy that I wish got more screen time. Instead you get maybe three scenes with her before the plot kicks you toward the elven front lines. And listen. the milf empress Elizara. I know she's supposed to be the villain but her design has me questioning my allegiance to the ACA. Those hips don't lie. There's a scene where she's addressing her war council and her dress is doing this thing where it's technically covering everything but also absolutely not covering anything. My spreadsheet says the corruption route has 12 unique H scenes but I've only unlocked 8 so far and two of them softlocked my save.
Wish the mystery elements connected better to the adult content. Sometimes it feels like two different games fighting for dominance. The supernatural horror stuff with Nathan's sister is genuinely creepy, then suddenly you're balls deep in a forest spirit who speaks in riddles about the old gods. The tonal shifts are jarring but somehow that makes the lewd parts hit harder? Like relief from the dread.
The stat system doesn't explain diminishing returns on charisma builds and I'm still bitter about wasting points in chapter 3. Still. That scene with the twin beastling scouts. Worth every broken build.
