About this game
Connor Brandt just wants to write, but his professor had other ideas. A whole semester to document your sexual experiences, and the guy's a complete virgin. The setup is so deliberately trashy it wraps back around to genius. I mean, an arts college where every dude in the hallway is apparently ready to bend over for the shy writer kid? Sure. Why not. The game knows exactly what it is and never pretends otherwise.
The CG hentai scenes hit different when you've been clicking through Connor's awkward internal monologue for twenty minutes. There's this one encounter with a jock in the locker room, steam still rising, and the way the dialogue stumbles through consent and nervous laughter before the clothes come off. It's messy in a way polished yaoi titles rarely attempt. The art isn't going to win awards, some proportions feel like the artist was figuring things out as they went, but the expressions. The way a character's face crumples right before. You don't get that in bigger budget visual novels.
The choice system feels almost random at times. Pick a response, get a completely different reaction than expected, and suddenly you're on a route you didn't plan for. It's frustrating. It's also weirdly realistic for a game about a guy who's never dated anyone. Connor doesn't know what he's doing, and neither do you. The roleplay elements bleed into the relationship building in ways that make replays actually worth it, even if some paths dead end abruptly. I still can't figure out why the philosophy major's route just stops after the library scene. Was that intentional or did the dev run out of time? Anyway. The student dynamics feel more authentic than most college settings in these games, probably because everyone's as horny and confused as Connor is. No one's smooth. No one's got game. They're just young and desperate and making terrible decisions, and the game lets you wallow in that without judgment.
