The sound design in Scarlet Spire is this weird, muffled corporate drone that actually works. Like someone left a server room door open down the hall. When Scarlet's fingers hit the keyboard, it's not clicky, more of a dull thud, which somehow makes the whole thing feel seedier. The voice acting though, it's rough. Not in a charming way. Scarlet's VA sounds like she's reading a grocery list half the time, even when the plot is supposed to be ramping up. But then there's this one moment, a low whisper from a security guard character, that caught me off guard. Genuinely creepy. I replayed that bit three times just for the delivery.

Then immediately went back to see it again. The physics are absurd. Her tits move like they have their own gravity field, which I guess for a supernatural monster girl is canon. The handjob animation is weirdly detailed though, like someone spent all their effort on the wrist movement and just gave up on the background. The castle is just a gray box. Who cares. The dystopian setting is basically "horny jail but make it gothic." There's a superpowers tag which I think refers to her ability to make your character forget he has a mission the second her dress comes off. You get a creampie ending that feels almost romantic in a deeply fucked up way, like a monster girl dating sim where the date is just her owning you completely. I wish there was more of a game here, like actual choices, but that's not the point. The point is female domination where you're a bug and she's the windshield. And honestly? Sometimes that's enough. I don't know why I'm complaining about the lack of plot in a game where the plot is literally just "you will fail and you will like it." The romance is Stockholm syndrome by design. The oral sex scene later, when she's on her knees, I actually forgot to screenshot because I was too busy thinking about how to draw that expression later. The sporty girls tag doesn't do it justice, it's more about breaking someone who thinks they're untouchable. I wish there was a gallery mode though. Having to replay choices to see all the stripping scenes is a pain. But then again, the relationship management stuff means you miss things on purpose. Like, I tried being nice to her once and the whole vibe shifted. Boring. Went back to being an asshole immediately.
