About this game
I almost closed the tab during the first scene. Finley the coyote waking up next to his girlfriend, morning sun through the curtains, this whole soft domestic vibe that made me think I clicked the wrong link. Then her hand drifts under the sheets and the dialogue splits into three paths and oh right, this is exactly where we're headed.
The AI art has that specific uncanny sheen where sometimes a character's muzzle connects wrong or an ear floats half an inch off where it should be. It bugged me at first. But three scenes later when the neighbor wolf corners Finley while his girlfriend's in the shower and you get the choice to "accidentally" brush against her or pull away, I stopped caring about anatomy. The tension in that moment is built properly. She's leaning close, the text describes her scent, her tail flicks against his leg, and the corruption meter somewhere in the background ticks up whether you touch her or just. let. her. stand. there.
The netorare path is where things get genuinely uncomfortable in the way this genre should. You can watch Finley's girlfriend through a window while she's with someone else. The voyeur scenes aren't just tossed in. They're framed with this deliberate cruelty, close narration about what Finley's thinking, whether he's aroused or devastated or both. I found myself picking options just to see how low it goes, which says something about the writing or maybe about me.
What doesn't work is the romance route trying to be sweet when the cheating mechanics are so much more detailed. The faithful path feels like an afterthought. Kissing scenes read like placeholder text compared to the elaborate corruption sequences. And the masturbation minigame, look, nobody needs a rhythm-click mechanic for that, we're all adults here, just show the scene and move on.
The furry designs are actually good though. Distinct body language between species. The fox love interest moves differently than the coyote protagonist, more fluid, more deliberate. Small thing but it sells the worldbuilding.
