About this game
Vanessa, or Nessa as she insists, is one of those characters who walks into a room and immediately starts rearranging the furniture. Not literally, but you get the point. This kinetic novel doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is, a front row seat to a blonde hurricane in heels who decided rules were for other people. The writing has this raw, unpolished quality that somehow works in its favor, like someone's actual fantasy diary got turned into a game without the usual sanitizing pass.
The CG hentai scenes hit different when you realize there's no branching, no choices, no escape hatch. You're along for the ride whether you like it or not, and honestly that commitment is refreshing. One moment Nessa is having a casual conversation, the next she's got some poor soul on their knees with that look in her eyes. The femdom elements aren't theatrical or costume heavy, it's more psychological, the way she just assumes control like it's her birthright. The blowjob scenes are drawn with this attention to power dynamics that most games miss entirely. She's not servicing anyone, she's making a point. And yeah, the art isn't perfect, some frames look rushed, but that almost adds to the underground vibe.
Something about the way the story handles consequences bothers me though. It teases this idea that actions have weight, that Nessa's corruption spree will catch up with her, but the pacing feels off. Like ordering a pizza and getting the notification it's delayed, then it shows up anyway but you already ate cereal. The kinetic format means you can't even poke at the narrative to see if it breaks. Still, watching her methodically dismantle every social norm in her path has this trainwreck quality I couldn't look away from. The game knows exactly what it is and doesn't apologize for it. Wish more visual novels had that kind of honesty.
