The loading screen is just a jack o lantern with a dumb grin and I already know I'm in for something that thinks it's funnier than it is. Our guy, some sad sack in a hoodie, is at a Halloween party but he's got "no mood" which is honestly the most relatable thing this game does. Everyone else is probably bobbing for apples or whatever and he's just standing there like a wet cigarette. The whole thing runs on this clunky minigame loop where you click through dialogue that feels like it was translated through three different languages then back into English by someone who just learned the word "boobs."

The minigame itself. You're basically playing a rhythm thing but with zero feedback. Hit the right spot on a bar and the witch lady loses a piece of her costume. Miss it and she just stares at you with those dead hentai eyes. I spent a solid minute trying to figure out if my clicks were even registering or if the game was just animating on a timer and humoring me. The striptease is less "sexy Halloween fun" and more "someone's awkward goth cousin reluctantly undressing after losing a bet." The witch character has exactly one expression and it's somewhere between bored and mildly inconvenienced. Which, same.

The humor lands in this weird space where I can't tell if it's intentional or just a byproduct of the jank. At one point a skeleton in the background does a little dance that has nothing to do with anything and I laughed harder than I should have. The sex scene at the end is like someone described what they thought hentai was to an AI that had only ever seen screenshots of Castlevania. The audio is just a loop of what I can only describe as "spooky stock music" that keeps playing even during the climax. Nothing kills the mood like a theremin sting when you're trying to get it on with a witch who looks like she's waiting for a bus. I wish the strip club tag made any sense here because there's no club, just a room with some cobwebs and a guy who apparently hates fun. The whole thing feels like a fever dream I had after eating too much candy corn.

The thing is, it understands the slow, grinding boredom of work. The clicking to stamp metal sheets, the clock ticking, the same two sad hallway backgrounds. It creates this heavy, dusty atmosphere. Then your supervisor calls you in. The power dynamic is so blunt it's almost a parody, but the stilted dialogue, probably translated by a machine that's given up, makes it weirdly hot? It's like reading a script for a porn video found in a forgotten geocities page. The multiple choices are classic, simple branching paths that lead to four endings. I tried to be the "good" guy, the one protecting some fragile light or whatever the blurb said, and it led to a scene so depressingly bleak, the sex felt like an afterthought. Like a sad, obligatory handjob in a supply closet. But then I leaned into the domination. Became the asshole. The working scenes got different, the requests got bolder. There's this one moment where you can rat out a coworker for a smoke break, and the look on her AI generated face, a perfect blend of betrayal and dead pixels, was more satisfying than any of the actual explicit scenes. The sex is there, it's direct and messy and uses language that some dictionary from 2003 thought was dirty. The pacing is a meal where you only get a crumb every hour. Which, I guess, is the point of the dystopian thing, but it still makes you want to throw your mouse. The "work" mechanic isn't a game, it's a waiting penalty. You just... wait. Click. Wait.
