About this game
The interrogation room smells like old coffee and cheap perfume. Eve sits there in that red dress, legs crossed, knowing exactly what she's doing. Inspector J asks about Jeanne, the missing girl, and Eve just... smiles. That smile. You know the one. Like she's already won something.
The striptease mechanic is weirdly integrated. You ask questions, she dodges, and somehow each correct pressure point makes her lose another layer. It's not realistic at all but who cares. The real model they used for Eve has this look, this specific way she tilts her head when you catch her in a lie. I spent way too long on the third question just to see her reaction again. The voice acting is... there. Sometimes it's hot, sometimes it sounds like she's reading a grocery list. But when she whispers about what she did with Jeanne's boyfriend, the audio crackles and my headphones felt too warm.
The detective part is thin. You're not really solving anything, just clicking through dialogue trees until the clothes come off. But the writing has these moments. Eve talks about Jeanne like she's jealous and guilty at the same time, and you start to wonder if the affair was even the point. Then she unbuttons her blouse and you forget what you were thinking about.
The ending felt rushed. One minute you're piecing together where Jeanne went, the next Eve is fully naked and the case just... resolves? I don't know. Maybe I clicked wrong. The game doesn't punish you for it. It just ends and you sit there with the screen glowing and your pants uncomfortable.
The soundtrack is mostly silence with occasional synth stings that made me jump. Not in a good way. But the way Eve's mouth moves when she says "inspector" made me replay that line four times. So there's that.
