About this game

So VN Maker games usually have that... feel, right? That slightly stiff, click through everything vibe. Wicked Choices 2 leans into that hard, but then there's these Karma scenes where it all melts. Her presence. She's supposed to be this cosmic force fixing timelines or whatever, but the real plot is her perfect, terrifying body. The 3DCG models are honestly kind of jank on most characters, plastic skin and dead eyes you skip past. But Karma. The rendering budget clearly went on her dick. And they know it. The domination and corruption tags aren't just buzzwords, the game orbits around her knocking up some poor terrified guy named William as punishment. The "punishment he deserves" part of the plot is just a flimsy excuse for a futa scene that goes on for, like, fifty clicks of pure, degrading vaginal.

The audio design is a crime. It's just some looping synth drone that made me think my laptop fan was dying. I had to mute the tab and play my own playlist which weirdly synced up once during a lesbian corruption scene between two other characters who I'd already forgotten the names of. You're the Antichrist, I think, or his uncle, some male protagonist the game forgets about for huge stretches while you just... watch Karma be the main character. Which is a relief, honestly. The writing tries to do this epic fantasy tapestry bullshit but you're really just clicking to get back to her. Every choice felt like it funneled me toward her. I clicked an option to "defy fate" and ended up watching her force a new soul into some woman's womb five minutes later. Not a complaint.

The corruption mechanics are barely there, a single visible slider that fills up but doesn't change anything until a flag trips. Felt pointless. But then there's this one post scene where Karma just holds William's chin and whispers about rewriting his very existence while she's still inside him, and the weird lighting glitch actually made her eyes glow. For a second, the jank became art. Then the next dialogue box was about a Tapestry I don't care about. I never finished the first book.
