About this game

The tile slides into place with a wet click sound that’s trying too hard. And then the video plays. Two women, a couch that’s seen better days, and the kind of lighting that makes everything look like it was filmed through a thin layer of cooking oil. The puzzle itself is one of those grid things where you shift squares around to complete an image, except the image is a still from what’s about to happen. The missing piece is always the most explicit part, obviously. You’re not here for the intellectual challenge of sliding tiles.

The logic is simple, almost insultingly so. I finished the first three puzzles while half paying attention to a youtube video about deep sea creatures. The real models are a nice touch, I guess, if you’re into that specific early 2000s digital camera aesthetic. There’s a graininess to the clips that feels less like an artistic choice and more like a technical limitation nobody bothered to fix. The animations are short loops, a few seconds of grinding and groping that just... end. No climax, no variation, just a hard cut back to the puzzle select screen. It’s like the game is edging you but not in a fun way.

The lesbian tag is doing all the heavy lifting here. The scenes are exclusively girl on girl, which is fine, but the lack of any other dynamic makes the whole thing feel like a single note played over and over. The erotic reward system is basically a slot machine for softcore gifs. You solve a puzzle, you get a clip. The clips don’t unlock in any order that makes sense, and there’s no gallery to revisit your favorites. You just have to solve the same puzzle again. Which, given how easy they are, is more of an annoyance than a barrier. The whole thing runs in a browser, so at least you don’t have to commit to it. It’s the kind of game you open in a private tab, click through for five minutes, and then forget exists until you’re cleaning out your history. The missing tile mechanic is a metaphor for something, probably.
