About this game
I swear half the appeal here is the title screen alone. That absurdly cheerful banjo twang hits and you know exactly what kind of degenerate pastoral fantasy you're signing up for. Dad's run off after "catching a mild case of the gay", which is already a sentence that should get someone banned from writing forever, and suddenly you're a city brat dumped on a farm with a mom who's traded her wine glass for a pitchfork. The setup is so aggressively stupid I almost respect it.
The animations have this janky, almost Flash-era quality that somehow makes the whole thing filthier. Like when the farm girl cousin, who looks about as country as a corn cob, bends over to pick up something she definitely dropped on purpose. The tits don't quite move right, there's a weird frame skip, but the sheer shamelessness of the upskirt shot loops perfectly. It's hypnotic. You find yourself clicking through the same dialogue tree just to see if the hay bale scene glitches out again. The milf character, your own mother obviously, has this dead-eyed smile during the late-night kitchen "comfort" scenes that's more unnerving than any horror game I've played this year. The handjob animation is basically two sprites rubbing together but the sound design, wet and slightly too loud, does all the heavy lifting. I muted it once and the whole thing became a comedy.
There's a voyeurism mechanic where you peek through a barn knot-hole that's so on the nose it's practically a Looney Tunes gag. The shota protagonist's face is permanently stuck in a blush that makes him look like he's having an allergic reaction. And yet. The humor lands more often than it should, mostly because the writing doesn't pretend this is anything but a fever dream. The oral sex scene with the farmhand has dialogue so blunt it circled back to being quotable. I forgot to mention the actual farming minigame is pointless, just clicking dirt until a meter fills, but nobody's here for crop rotation advice. The whole thing feels like it was coded in a basement during a heatwave, which honestly adds to the charm. Or maybe I've just fried my dopamine receptors.
