About this game
The first thing that hits you is the purple. Not a cute lilac, but a deep, bruise colored sky over black foliage that makes you feel like you're permanently stuck in some goth girl's wet dream. Then a seven foot tall alien with curves that would break a physics engine walks up and starts talking about bonobo social structures while her three wives giggle in the background. This isn't your usual "oh no tentacles" setup, it's a scientist's fever dream about what happens when a species that evolved under a red dwarf star decides humans are the hottest new thing since sliced bread.
The sandbox here is weirdly specific. You can spend twenty minutes just reading in game articles about terreformation logistics or the evolutionary reasons why these aliens have no concept of jealousy, then immediately pivot to getting groped in a public park because exhibitionism is literally just tuesday for them. The RPG mechanics are light, mostly dialogue trees and relationship tracking, but the real grind is trying to keep up with the xenoanthropology lectures while your dick is hard. There's this one scene with a monster girl who's got bioluminescent freckles and she's explaining cognitive biases while using a sex toy on herself, and I genuinely learned something about confirmation bias before I finished. That shouldn't work. It does.
The animations are 3DCG and honestly a bit janky, like someone spent all their budget on the research papers and remembered at the last minute that people also want to see big tits bouncing. The oral sex scenes have this uncanny valley quality where the mouths move like they're chewing tough steak, but somehow it loops back around to being hot because the dialogue during it is so absurdly earnest. One character trauma dumps about her home planet's dying ecosystem while going down on you, and I cried a little. Not from the orgasm.
I wish the harem management had more friction. Everyone's so emotionally healthy and communicative that it feels like polyamory with training wheels. Where's the messy breakup where someone throws a potted purple fern at your head? Won't happen though, the whole point is this idealized bonobo inspired society where jealousy is a human import they find quaint. The voyeurism tags are undersold too, there's a whole subplot about alien reality TV that's basically just watching humans be awkward at dinner parties and it's the funniest shit in the game.
