About this game
The first thing that hits you isn't the story. It's the ass. Specifically, the landlord's. Or is she the step-mom? The game is deliberately vague, a mess of half explained relationships that mirror the protagonist's own scrambled brain. You're a young guy, a self described pervert the game tells you with a wink, moving in with a woman who was once your role model and then vanished. Now she's back, with a body that the 3DCG renders with a kind of obsessive, single minded focus. The skin textures are a bit waxy, the hair doesn't move right, but the curve of her back as she bends over a counter? That's where the entire animation budget went. It's unpolished on purpose, a greasy lens smeared over a very specific fantasy.
Gameplay is point and click in its most basic form. Click the couch to think about her. Click the kitchen to "accidentally" walk in while she's changing. There's a voyeurism mechanic that's never really explained, you just find yourself peeking through keyholes, the screen darkening at the edges. One time I spent five minutes just clicking a potted plant because I was convinced it would trigger something. It didn't. The multiple endings seem to hinge on how much of a creep you decide to be, with a "romance" path that feels less like romance and more like a prolonged, awkward silence punctuated by groping. The sleep sex scene is there, of course, animated with a strange, floaty quality, like everyone's underwater. It's less hot and more... quietly desperate. Which, honestly, might be the point. The whole thing feels like a confession you'd delete from your notes app at 4 AM, then rewrite the next night.
