About this game
The blonde just stands there, arms crossed, looking at me like I already lost. Real model, they say. I believe it. She has that specific kind of impatient posture, weight on one hip, the kind you see in behind the scenes photoshoot clips where someone forgot the coffee order. The game is billiards but not really. You aim a cue and the balls scatter and numbers pop up, 2, 4, 8, 16, all that 2048 merging stuff. I spent way too long just watching the little white ball bounce off the cushion near the top left pocket. The physics there are completely wrong, by the way. It catches a weird spin if you hit it at half power, like the felt is made of velcro. Nobody tested that corner.
Anyway, the point is to get the merged number into a pocket. I think. The instructions are in some language I don't speak, maybe Russian? The blonde's name is probably something like Katya and she looks unimpressed when you miss. Which I did. A lot. The striptease part is tied to clearing a target score, and her top came off after I finally sunk a 128 block. The animation is stiff, she just sort of pops from one state to the next, but the photos they used are high quality. There's a mole on her left collarbone that I kept staring at while trying to line up a shot for a 256 merge. It's the little details, right?
The soundtrack is just a loop of what I can only describe as royalty free elevator jazz that someone ran through a distortion pedal. It made me feel like I was in a waiting room for a vasectomy. I muted the tab after three minutes and put on a playlist of old Depeche Mode instead. Much better atmosphere for watching a pixelated blonde lose her bra one number block at a time. The game forgets your progress if you refresh, which I found out the hard way when I accidentally hit F5 trying to adjust volume. Had to start from scratch, her clothes all back on, that smug look on her face again. I just closed the browser. The mole wasn't worth it.
