About this game
The pumpkin blinks. I click it. It explodes. A witch takes off her hat. This is the entire game loop and I can't stop.
She's got this mask on, one of those cheap Halloween things that covers half her face, and honestly it's doing something weird to my brain. The real model thing, you can tell, she's not some rendered fantasy, she's just a woman in a witch costume who agreed to do this. Small tits, which I appreciate because the internet has lied to me about what bodies look like. The arcade setup is basic as hell, pumpkins light up in a pattern, you smash them, the witch removes clothing. Strip mechanic but make it seasonal.
I played this during a meeting. Not proud of it but the camera was off and Dave from accounting was talking about quarterly projections and I just needed something. The game doesn't punish you for missing, there's no fail state that I found, you just keep clicking until the witch is satisfied. Or you're satisfied. The line blurs after the third witch.
The cosplay element is what gets me. It's not trying to be high art, it's a woman in a witch costume doing a striptease because you clicked some pumpkins. The Halloween theme feels almost nostalgic, like those flash games from 2006 that your friend's older brother showed you. The masked face adds this anonymity that makes the whole thing feel slightly forbidden, even though it's just pixels on a work laptop.
I wish the pumpkins made a better sound. They kind of just disappear. No squelch, no satisfying pop. For a game about smashing things, the audio feedback is weirdly polite. The witches don't seem to mind though. They keep taking things off. I keep clicking. Dave is still talking about projections.
