You know what's refreshing? A porn game that doesn't pretend to be deep. Getting Inside opens with some ancient demon breaking free and instead of the usual soul contract bullshit, the guy just... hangs around. He's bored. He wants to watch you fail at seducing women. That's it. That's the premise.

The art is that specific kind of rough where you can tell someone actually drew it instead of running it through an AI filter. Lines are a bit wobbly, anatomy goes places real bodies don't, but there's personality here. The demon dude looks like he wandered out of a 90s OVA and the women have those classic eroge proportions that make physics professors weep. I spent way too long on the first girl, some redhead who's supposedly naive, and the dialogue choices are so blunt it's almost a parody. One option was literally something like "show her your thing" and I clicked it because obviously. The writing knows it's dumb. That self awareness carries the whole thing because mechanically it's just a visual novel with branching paths, nothing you haven't clicked through before.
