About this game
I keep thinking about the menu screen. There's this little animation where Reika adjusts her uniform collar and for some reason it's the smoothest thing in the entire game. Everything else has that deliberate jank, the kind where character sprites slide into place like they're on ice skates, but that collar adjustment? Cinema. I spent maybe three minutes just clicking back and forth to trigger it again. The party invitation arrives and you get choices that branch things out, but honestly the "wrong" path where you don't go to the party at all is somehow the most interesting one. You just stay home and she talks about her day and there's this weird tension that builds from absolutely nothing happening.
The oppai physics are ridiculous in the best way. Like someone took the slider and just cranked it to "fuck it" levels. During the party scene there's a moment where Reika leans forward and everything just keeps moving for a solid second after she stops. It's not realistic at all but that's kind of the point with these Quickie series games, right? You're not here for subtlety. The uniform stays on way longer than you'd expect and when it finally comes off the payoff hits different because of the wait.
Wish there was more actual party content though. You get the invite, you go, things escalate, and then it's over. The visual novel format means you're mostly reading with occasional choices that feel like they matter until you replay and realize two of the three lead to basically the same scene with slightly different dialogue. The third choice does branch properly but it's the one most people probably skip. I don't know why I'm hung up on the skipped party route. Maybe because it's the only time the game lets things breathe instead of rushing to the explicit stuff. The hentai scenes themselves are what you'd expect, nothing groundbreaking but they do the job. Reika's expressions carry most of the weight since the writing is pretty bare bones. One scene has her looking directly at the screen and it's genuinely unsettling for a split second before it becomes hot again.
