Ok so the devil in this one. Not some edgy red guy with horns, more like a presence that knows exactly what you've been hiding. The whole thing starts with this dude who's basically been a ghost in his own life for 18 years, and then suddenly there's this... entity. Seductive. Patient. The kind that doesn't need to push because it already knows you're going to fall.

The writing is what got me. Not polished in the way you'd expect, some lines feel almost too raw, like someone's actual journal entry they forgot to edit. There's this one scene early on where the protagonist is just staring at himself and the internal monologue is so specific about the disconnect between what he sees and what he feels.
