I don't know what I expected from a game where the main character's power is basically "I can punch through walls but also my dick is bigger than your forearm." Nightwraith, this redhead with an attitude problem and a thing for leather, she's out here trying to dismantle some gang called the Red Sirens. Standard superhero fare, right? Wrong. The first time she ripped her costume off it wasn't some sexy striptease, it was like watching someone tear open a bag of chips with their teeth. Aggressive. I respected it.

The stripping mechanic is janky as hell. Sometimes the clothes just phase through her body and I'm sitting there like, did I miss a patch note? But then she'll get into a fight with one of the gang members and suddenly it's not about the city anymore, it's about dominance. There's this one scene in an alleyway where she just... takes what she wants from this guy who tried to mug her. The unpolished textures actually help here, giving skin a slightly rough, almost tangible quality, like you could feel the heat coming off the screen. It's a prison, so the power dynamics are the whole point. You're not here for a nuanced take on the carceral system. You're here for the scene where three guys corner you in the laundry room and the steam fogs up the screen. The game understands that the hottest part is the anticipation, the threat, the way a hand rests on your shoulder and squeezes just a little too hard. The sound design is basically nonexistent, just some looping ambient noise that sounds like a fridge humming, but honestly, you're not playing this with the volume up for the atmosphere.
