About this game
Right, so the first thing that hits you is the music. That looping synth beat that burrows into your skull like a worm. Dancing Queen, they call it. Or East Two-Precipitation System, which sounds like a weather report from a parallel universe. Episode 1. I spent way too long trying to figure out if the precipitation was... you know. A metaphor. Probably not. The whole thing has this rough, almost student project energy, like someone learned just enough Flash to be dangerous and decided to make their fantasies public.
The uniform. God, the uniform. It's that generic sailor fuku but rendered with this weird stiffness, like the fabric is made of cardboard. There's a scene on the train, or maybe it's a subway, the background is just gray blurs and handrails that look like afterthoughts. The public setting is what gets me. This girl, she's just trying to get home or whatever, and these guys, they just... start their dirty tricks. Right there. No buildup. The pacing is like a microwave meal, hot and uneven. One minute you're looking at a static image of a nurse character who never actually appears in this episode, the next you're clicking through a sequence that feels both rushed and weirdly drawn out. I wish the nurse was in it. A missed opportunity.
The dancing queen part, I kept waiting for a rhythm game or something. Nope. Just that title. And the student character, her expression barely changes, that same wide-eyed look whether she's standing on the platform or... well. You know. The lack of polish is almost the point, I think. It's not trying to be slick. It's like finding a crumpled drawing in a school locker, all hormones and no art class. The whole thing is maybe ten clicks long and then it just ends. No resolution. Like a sneeze that never comes.
