The 3DCG models have that specific Daz Studio look, the one where skin sometimes resembles a slightly sweaty mannequin in the best possible way. Laughing at his jokes more than yours. The visual novel format strips everything down to faces and text, no fancy animations to hide behind. Sometimes the art looks rushed, proportions a bit off.
