About this game
I keep clicking on the same dialogue option hoping Belle’s AI roommate logic will glitch and she’ll just… stay in the room without a reason. That’s not how this parody dating sim works but god, the animation when she stretches on the couch made me forget I was supposed to be an ethics watchdog. Her consent model is a mess. She says yes to things no real person would agree to after you’ve ignored her for three in-game days, and the game never flags that as problematic. But then I noticed her eyes flicker differently if you pick the “quiet night in” path versus the blatant harassment route. Is that intentional? Probably not. The devs clearly spent their budget on jiggle physics and forgot to code basic boundaries.
The roommate dynamic is where it gets weirdly compelling. You share a kitchen with Belle and two other girls whose names I’ve already forgotten because one of them only appears in the laundry scene and the other exists solely to walk in on you at the worst possible moments. Classic parody nonsense. The dialogue tree has about as much depth as a puddle but there’s this one line where Belle references a movie that doesn’t exist and I laughed for a solid minute. Not because it was clever. Because it was so lazy it circled back to charming.
The simulation aspects are held together with duct tape. Characters clip through furniture. The sound cuts out during transitions. I once had Belle’s torso load before her head and honestly? It improved the experience. The NSFW scenes trigger based on a point system that makes no sense. I got the pool scene by repeatedly selecting “make coffee” for a week. That’s not a strategy guide tip. That’s just what happened. The parody tag is doing heavy lifting here because nothing in this game takes itself seriously, including the concept of player accountability. You want virtual character consent? Best I can offer is a poorly translated popup asking if you’re sure you want to proceed, which appears after the thing already happened.
