About this game
The whole thing feels like someone's half finished Ren'Py project that got abandoned but somehow still works. Shawn's this dweeb working retail, and honestly the setup hits different when you realize you can just... not be a decent person. Like at all. The game doesn't judge you for it which is refreshing in a weird way.
Palla's living in his apartment rent free and the first time I managed to get her into a titfuck situation I laughed because the dialogue was so awkward it circled back to being hot. The hand drawn art has this rough quality where sometimes the proportions go wild but then there's this one footjob scene with Audrey that's surprisingly detailed. You can tell where the artist actually cared vs when they were just getting through it. The texting system is clunky as hell, you pick from these pre written messages that range from normal to absolutely unhinged, and the girls respond based on some invisible stat I still don't fully understand. Amy at the electronics store took forever to crack, she keeps roasting you and you have to just take it for a while before anything happens.
The sandbox structure means you're bouncing between work shifts and buying gifts and trying to figure out which location triggers what. Got stuck for like twenty minutes once because I didn't realize you need to call someone before they show up somewhere. The pregnancy mechanic is there I guess, never went that route. What surprised me was the poly stuff actually having consequences, some dialogue changes if you're juggling multiple girls and they start catching on. The hint system is buried in menus and barely helps. Wish the groping mechanics had more feedback beyond a sound effect and a stat change but that's probably never getting updated. The death endings are genuinely funny though, completely out of nowhere.
