About this game
You ever get that feeling where a game just knows you’re a disaster with women? Lust Storm looked at my romantic history and said hold my beer. The setup is simple, almost too simple. Two girlfriends, a camping trip gone wrong, a storm, and one clueless college guy studying in his family’s forest house. That’s me. Not literally, but spiritually. I’ve been that guy, minus the two soaked women showing up at my door.
The art is... look, it’s not winning awards for polish. Some CGs look like they were sketched on a napkin during a particularly horny lecture. But the voice acting, when it hits, it hits. One of the girls has this whispery tone that made my headphones feel illegal. The story is basically a pressure cooker of sexual tension. You’ve got the more forward friend and the shy one, and they start bickering and teasing each other while the storm traps everyone inside. The student, our boy, he’s a virgin. Of course he is. And the game doesn’t let you forget it, every inner monologue is a panic attack about where to put his hands. Relatable.
There’s a scene where the power goes out and they’re all huddled by candlelight. The bolder one, with tits that defy the storm’s gravity, decides she’s cold and needs to share a blanket. The way the game describes her pressing against him, the heat, the wet clothes... it’s like a slow motion car crash of hormones. You just click to make the next line of dialogue appear, but your brain is screaming. The choices are basic, mostly just picking which girl to focus on, but the writing does this thing where a simple touch gets three paragraphs of internal screaming. I wish the shy girl had more to do early on, she just kind of blushes in the corner for the first half. But when she finally makes a move, it’s like a dam breaking. The whole thing is a messy, horny, unpolished fantasy that knows exactly what it is. A wet dream with a save button.
