About this game
The cursor hovers over the deal button and my trackpad has this slight graininess my fingertip keeps catching on. That friction. The hiss of airbrakes on the truck suspension every time the blonde loses a hand, a low pneumatic sigh that vibrates right up into my desk. She's not even trying to look professional, this Las Vegas Strip setup with cardboard-cutout casinos sliding past the window behind her. A flatbed truck interior that smells like... I don't know, vinyl and desperation. My palm leaves a ghost print on the mouse.
I folded on a pair of eights because the way her grin twitched near her left canine, something about the pixel compression there, I just *knew*. You develop this second sense. Her t-shirt came off at the third hand and the fabric physics is basically non-existent, it just dissolves like cheap cotton candy in a drizzle. But that's the charm? No, it's not charming at all. The bloom effect on her milky, untextured chest is absolutely a Unity asset flip move. I should be harsher about it but my spine actually relaxed when the underwear slid away. There's zero landing animation, the clothes don't fall, they fade with a soft shwip sound effect stolen from, I swear, a royalty-free zip file titled "retro fabric 04.wav." I used that exact same sample in a mobile game jam project back in 2018. Instantly recognized it. The flashback was disgusting.
One hand I got a full house, kings over tens, and for a second the RNG felt so blatantly rigged in my favor that a laugh punched out of me dry as the desert they're driving through. Her body is this smooth, unblemished geometry, tight and completely detached from the bone structure underneath. The camera locks into a gynecological angle with the enthusiasm of a drone pilot who just discovered the zoom function. I actually tilted my laptop screen away, a reflex, as if someone might walk through the wall. The striptease progression is logical but there is a moment, maybe the sixth hand, where her expression cycles through three states so rapidly it looks like a facial seizure. Raw and game-breaking and I kind of adored it. The audio loop of tires on highway has a skip point where it hiccups. Each time that hiccup hit I tensed up waiting for the next strip phase. Pavlovian.
I wish the truck would crash. The game never lets the truck crash. Missed opportunity. A Wario-esque bomb explosion into the Bellagio fountains, wet cards, the absurdist chaos. The engine sound will randomly pitch shift whenever you get a bad hand, drowning out the generic synth saxophone that bleeds through every menu. My phone buzzed on the desk and vibrated through the wood and for a split second I thought the game added some haptic support for... you know. The moment that happens. It didn't. The game forgets it even showed her fully bare two hands later and cycles back to the shirtless state without acknowledging it, a glitch that honestly improves the whole experience. Looping eternity on a digital flatbed with a blonde whose navel is painted on and smudged. I found myself matching the rhythm of that damn highway skip. Not my proudest fap but my trackpad's never been cleaner.
