Lost my bus connection again and this browser game about some blonde called Charlie on a beach actually made the wait less shit. You know those parody games that wink at old TV shows? This one has 5 people stuck on an island and the whole thing feels like someone drew it on a napkin during lunch break. Deliberately unpolished is the whole vibe. The handjob scene with Charlie caught me off guard because the animation is so janky it loops like a broken GIF but somehow that makes it funnier. She's got these massive tits that defy physics and the artist clearly spent 90% of their time on those and 10% on the background palm trees.

The choice system is weird. You click things and sometimes stuff happens, sometimes not. I picked "help with sunscreen" expecting the obvious and instead got a five second loop of her laughing while the guy just stands there like a lemon. The cumshot at the end of the beach scene splatters in a way that reminds me of those old flash games on Newgrounds where the physics engine was held together with hope. It's not hot exactly but it's entertaining in the way watching a cat fail a jump is entertaining.

The survival tag is a lie. Nobody's surviving anything. They're just hanging around waiting for you to click on body parts. The humor lands sometimes, like when the skinny guy tries to start a fire and fails for the fourth time while Charlie just watches with this deadpan expression. I forgot to mention the island setting has exactly three locations and you'll see all of them in the first two minutes. The funny moments work better than the sex bits honestly. The whole thing feels like someone's first Ren'py project they abandoned halfway through but uploaded anyway. Which I respect. More games should have the confidence to be this rough around the edges. My bus finally showed up and I closed the tab without saving. Didn't matter. Nothing to save really.

Laughing at his jokes more than yours. The visual novel format strips everything down to faces and text, no fancy animations to hide behind. Sometimes the art looks rushed, proportions a bit off. But honestly? That jank adds to the wrongness. Nothing should feel polished when your marriage is imploding in a tin can on a dead planet. The voyeuristic dread is the real star here. Scenes where you're "asleep" but listening. The sound of zippers. Wet noises. Her trying to stay quiet and failing. The game understands that NTR isn't about the sex, it's about the exclusion. The whole thing runs on this janky charm where the 3D models look like they were rendered on a toaster from 2006 but the lighting on the skin, especially during the groping scenes, has this weirdly competent subsurface scattering thing going on. It's uncanny. You get dropped into a sandbox with a world map that has actual cities on it, which surprised me. There's a karma system that supposedly carries over to a sequel, so I spent twenty minutes agonizing over whether to be a dick to this one green skinned lady who kept teasing me through a viewscreen. The dialogue is written by someone who clearly mainlines tokusatsu and cheap philosophy in equal measure. One minute you're debating the nature of justice with a synthetic woman whose ass has its own gravitational pull, the next you're in a turn based battle that feels like it was coded in a weekend. The oral scenes have this particular jank where the mouth animations don't quite sync but somehow that makes it hotter? Like a bootleg VHS you found in your uncle's basement. I wish the map navigation was less clunky, the click zones are tiny and I kept accidentally groping a statue instead of the actual character, which, okay, maybe that's a feature not a bug given the tone. The soundtrack genuinely slaps though. No joke. It sounds like a lost cassette from an 80s sentai show that never existed, all wailing guitars and synth stabs. I caught myself humming one of the battle themes while doing dishes and had to sit down and think about my life choices. The multiple endings thing means I'll probably replay it, which is annoying because I told myself I'd just do a quick look. The AI CG stuff is obvious in places, especially hands, but the sheer volume of questionable women, like over a dozen apparently, means there's always some new disaster of spandex and bad decisions waiting in the next zone.
