About this game
I don't know what I expected from a game literally called "Flying Ass Tentacle Hunt" but somehow it was both less and more. The whole thing feels like someone learned just enough coding to make their very specific fantasy come true and then stopped caring about anything else. No menus, no settings, no tutorial. Just a butt floating in a void and tentacles that want it.
The models are real people, which makes it weirder. Like someone took a photo of an actual woman's backside and said "yes, this needs to be hunted by purple appendages." The stripping happens in stages as you catch her, clothes just sort of disappear piece by piece. There's something almost hypnotic about watching the tentacles slither across the screen while you try to position them. My first few attempts were pathetic, tentacles waving at nothing while the ass drifted by mockingly. The hitbox is questionable at best. Sometimes you're right on target and nothing happens, other times a tentacle that's nowhere near suddenly latches on. Makes no sense.
The sound design is... a choice. Wet squelching noises that my neighbor definitely heard through the wall. Had to scramble for headphones like a teenager caught doing something shameful. Which I was, technically. The whole thing has this unpolished charm that somehow makes it more compelling than it should be. Graphics are rough, animations are janky, but there's this raw energy to it. Like finding someone's private sketchbook instead of a finished painting. The tentacle physics get weirdly elaborate once you make contact, way more detailed than the actual catching mechanics deserve. Priorities were clearly established early in development and never questioned.
