Okay so this game, Monokuma's Revenge, right? It's one of those browser things, the kind you find on itch.io where the description is basically "hey I made a thing" and the art is... a choice. Deliberately unpolished, they say. I mean yeah, you can tell. The Monokuma sprite looks like someone drew it in MS Paint after three energy drinks and honestly that's part of the whole vibe. You're some thief breaking into a school for tech, classic setup, and then the bear gets you. Upupupu and all that.

What gets me is the inflation tag. I should have read the tags. There's this one ending where Monokuma pumps you full of... something, I don't know, despair juice? And you just swell up like a balloon animal at a kid's party except it's all wrong because it's that creepy bear doing it. The muscles one too, there's a variation where you get all swollen with muscles but not in a cool way, in a "I can't move my arms" way. The hypnosis scenes are where it actually gets under my skin a bit. The text just repeats and loops and you can feel your character's brain turning to static. I kept clicking just to see how far it goes. Six bad ends, one good. I found the good one first try by accident and then spent way too long trying to get the worst ones on purpose.

The writing is about 5k words which is nothing, you can blast through it on a lunch break. But there's this one moment where Monokuma is describing what he's going to do and the text just stops being coherent for a second, like a glitch, and I actually leaned back from my phone. The 2nd person POV makes it feel like the bear is talking directly to you, which, no thanks. The sound? There is no sound. Just you and the silence and that janky bear grin. I wish there was a way to skip the intro text on replays but there isn't and I memorized it anyway. The hypnosis spiral effect is just a gif that doesn't loop smoothly. It stutters. Somehow that makes it worse. Better? I don't know. Don't go in expecting Danganronpa lore accuracy because the bear is just a vehicle for the fetish stuff, which, fair enough.

The handjob animation is weirdly detailed though, like someone spent all their effort on the wrist movement and just gave up on the background. The castle is just a gray box. Who cares. The dystopian setting is basically "horny jail but make it gothic." There's a superpowers tag which I think refers to her ability to make your character forget he has a mission the second her dress comes off. You get a creampie ending that feels almost romantic in a deeply fucked up way, like a monster girl dating sim where the date is just her owning you completely. I wish there was more of a game here, like actual choices, but that's not the point. The point is female domination where you're a bug and she's the windshield. And honestly? Sometimes that's enough. I don't know why I'm complaining about the lack of plot in a game where the plot is literally just "you will fail and you will like it." The romance is Stockholm syndrome by design. There's a mechanic where you can play with yourself during work hours and if you time it wrong a customer walks in which I found more funny than stressful. The mechanic simulator part is more aesthetic than simulation honestly but it gives enough structure that the scenes feel earned somehow, like you worked for that impossible flexibility display.
