About this game
The mouse feels cheap in my hand, that specific hollow plastic click when you're trying to line up a shot and the whole thing just. You know when you're playing those flash games from 2006 and the hitbox is like, a suggestion? That's the entire penalty kick mechanic here. I'm staring at this blonde in a football uniform that's basically painted on, and the ball physics make no sense. Sometimes it curves like a banana, other times it just phases through the goalkeeper's hands. I don't know if that's a feature or my trackpad dying.
The striptease part. Right. So you score goals and the girls remove clothes, which is the whole point obviously. But the transition between "serious soccer match" and "now the brunette is unhooking her bra" happens with this weird jitter, like the game forgets what it's supposed to be doing. The real model photos they used, they're clearly just stock images or something from a modeling portfolio, and they don't quite match the cartoonish field background. It creates this uncanny valley thing where you're looking at a real person's face pasted onto a body that moves like a paper doll. My brain kept trying to reconcile the two and failing.
There's this moment when you miss three shots in a row and the girl on screen does this little disappointed head shake. I felt genuinely called out. Not in a sexy way, more like when you drop your phone on your face in bed. The arcade mode just loops endlessly, same two opponents, same awkward silence between goals. I wish they'd added some crowd noise or literally anything to fill the dead air. The uniform textures though, when the fabric actually moves during the strip sequences, there's this slight pixelation around the edges that I kept zooming in on. Don't know why. Something about the compression artifacts made it feel more real than the HD parts. Like finding a crumpled magazine page under a park bench. The whole thing crashes if you alt-tab during the victory animation. I tested this three times. For science.
