About this game
Inoda. That name still makes my skin crawl. This game starts off cozy enough, you and Asuna, doing the whole VRMMORPG couple thing, grinding mobs, flirting in safe zones. Then you meet this loser with the Stealth Veil skill. The game is a Sword Art Online parody, obviously, but it twists the knife in a very specific way. The 3DCG is janky as hell, character models look like they were ported from a 2015 mobile gacha, but somehow that adds to the grime. You know something's off when the camera lingers on Asuna's ass for a beat too long during a turn based combat tutorial.
The combat itself is whatever, click attack, watch numbers pop, but the real mechanic is the voyeurism system. You get these little notification pings on your in game phone, grainy screenshots of Asuna from weird angles. First it's just her at the market, then her bending over to pick up a dropped item, the fabric stretching. The game doesn't ask you to do anything, it just shows you. You're supposed to be the hero, the male protagonist, but you're just scrolling through a cuckold's camera roll. There's this one scene, early on, where Inoda "accidentally" bumps into her in a dungeon corridor, his hand just grazing her chest, and the animation is so stiff it loops three times. It's not hot, it's clinical, like watching a security tape of a crime you can't stop.
The school setting segments are where it gets truly insidious. You're at your desk, and the dialogue options are all about ignoring red flags. "It's fine, he's just a friend." The handjob scene in the nurse's office is rendered with this weird glossy skin texture that makes everyone look like sweaty plastic. The netorare tag isn't a warning, it's the whole point. The creampie scenes are animated with a single, looping thrust that desyncs from the sound after about ten seconds. I wish the exhibitionism bits were more than just a static crowd of faceless NPCs watching. The big tits physics are dialed to eleven, bouncing like water ballons with a mind of their own, which is funny until it's not. The whole thing feels like a fever dream where you're stuck in a loading screen, watching your relationship buffer into corruption.
