About this game
The whole thing feels like someone animated a fever dream and forgot to add the polish. Jevan Dre'allis, this dark elf Wraith, ends up in Mizea and it's just... a mess of power plays and people getting used. The 3DCG is stiff. Characters move like action figures with limited joints, and the textures have that shiny, plastic look from a decade ago. You know the one. But here's the thing, that cheapness actually works for the mind control and humiliation stuff. It's so artificial it becomes unsettling, like watching dolls forced through degrading scenarios. The sound design is mostly ambient noise and some really wet, sloppy effects during the explicit bits. No voice acting, just grunts and squelches that loop a bit too perfectly. I spent way too long staring at a curtain in one scene, the way it didn't move with any wind. Totally took me out.
The pace is all over the place. One minute you're skulking through this fantasy port city, the next you've used some temple agent trick to break a noblewoman's will and she's on her knees. The male domination angle isn't subtle. It's the whole point. Choices lead to these branching moments where Jevan can enslave different characters, and the tension comes from who you're going to mentally shatter next. There's a scene with a rival spy where you can make her forget her own name while she's servicing you. The animation loops are short, maybe three seconds, but the dialog keeps going. You end up watching the same thrust repeat while the text describes her eyes going blank. It's hypnotic in a way I don't think was planned.
I complained about the UI to myself for a solid five minutes. Buttons appear and disappear with no logic, and I clicked through a choice I didn't mean to make because the text box shifted. Ended up enslaving a random barmaid instead of pursuing the main plot. Not that the game seemed to mind. The whole experience is like someone described a dark elf power fantasy, and the developer just nodded and started rendering before the conversation was over. The masturbation scenes are frequent and mechanical, no real buildup. Just... there. Yet I kept clicking. The slave stuff gets dark, but the janky presentation makes it feel like a strange artifact rather than something truly cruel. Like finding a weird VHS tape. You don't know why you're still watching, but you are.
