About this game

the whole thing runs on a weird hybrid engine, like someone smashed a pachinko machine into a texas hold'em tutorial and then spilled a air hockey table on it. you're not just clicking cards. you're shooting them. a puck slides across the table and you blast it with a cursor gun to flip it into a card, trying to build a flush or a full house in the opponent's zone. the physics are jank, the puck sometimes clips through the wall and just... leaves. gone. doesn't come back. have to restart the round. it's perfect.

the real models tag is doing some heavy lifting here, the girls are video clips, not renders, and the acting is exactly what you'd expect from a budget adult production circa 2005. the one with the red hair keeps staring slightly left of the camera like she's reading cue cards taped to a lamp. it's so unpolished it circles back around to being charming. the strip mechanic is tied directly to winning hands, obviously, and the animations are short loops with zero transition. one frame she's holding a shirt, next frame it's a bra, no in-between. feels like a gif collection from a defunct forum. i love it.

soundtrack is a single 15-second jazz loop that doesn't match the scifi shooter vibe at all. it will burrow into your skull. you'll hear it when you close your eyes. the gun sound effect is literally a stock "pew" noise. no voice acting, just awkward silence broken by that infernal saxophone riff. i wish the poker combinations were displayed more clearly because i keep forgetting if a straight beats three of a kind when i'm busy aiming at a puck that's vibrating in the corner. the hitboxes are a mess. a glorious, glorious mess.

for the speedrun to 100% unlocks, ignore building complex hands. just farm two pairs. the game's rng is busted and favors low-tier wins to trigger the strip sequences faster. don't chase the puck into the enemy zone, let it bounce back. the redhead's final scene is bugged, it replays the second-to-last clip instead, but honestly? it adds to the aesthetic. this isn't a game you play, it's a game that happens to you.

That's the vibe. Not sure if intentional but it works. The two routes thing, they say equal effort but the harem path feels more fleshed out. Or maybe I just prefer the absurdist comedy over the horror. The virgin protagonist thing gets old fast but the cosplay scenes, when they finally happen, are worth the wait. Big tits everywhere, obviously, this is Honey Select, but the monster design is actually creepy which I didn't expect. Contradicting myself here but the game is both too slow and perfectly paced. Sparks fly, the armor materializes with a sound like a trash compactor falling down stairs, and the sheriff helmet just sort of appears on your head between frames. I laughed so hard I nearly closed the tab, but then the first alien woman showed up and her tits were, I mean, genuinely massive. Like the AI understood the assignment and then asked for extra credit. The whole thing runs on this janky charm where the 3D models look like they were rendered on a toaster from 2006 but the lighting on the skin, especially during the groping scenes, has this weirdly competent subsurface scattering thing going on. It's uncanny. You get dropped into a sandbox with a world map that has actual cities on it, which surprised me. There's a karma system that supposedly carries over to a sequel, so I spent twenty minutes agonizing over whether to be a dick to this one green skinned lady who kept teasing me through a viewscreen. The dialogue is written by someone who clearly mainlines tokusatsu and cheap philosophy in equal measure. One minute you're debating the nature of justice with a synthetic woman whose ass has its own gravitational pull, the next you're in a turn based battle that feels like it was coded in a weekend. The oral scenes have this particular jank where the mouth animations don't quite sync but somehow that makes it hotter? Like a bootleg VHS you found in your uncle's basement. I wish the map navigation was less clunky, the click zones are tiny and I kept accidentally groping a statue instead of the actual character, which, okay, maybe that's a feature not a bug given the tone. The soundtrack genuinely slaps though. No joke. It sounds like a lost cassette from an 80s sentai show that never existed, all wailing guitars and synth stabs. I caught myself humming one of the battle themes while doing dishes and had to sit down and think about my life choices. The multiple endings thing means I'll probably replay it, which is annoying because I told myself I'd just do a quick look. The AI CG stuff is obvious in places, especially hands, but the sheer volume of questionable women, like over a dozen apparently, means there's always some new disaster of spandex and bad decisions waiting in the next zone.
