The card flip animation has this weird half second hitch every third turn, like the engine is trying to remember what a devil girl looks like. I counted. It happens on the third flip, then the seventh, then the eleventh. No idea why. Probably some lazy array indexing in the javascript. But you don't play these things for the code quality, right? You play because the memory mechanic is just an excuse to unlock nude hentai pngs one by one. And honestly the art is fine. Not great. The devil theme means red skin, little horns, tails that curl in ways that suggest things. Some of the poses are recycled from other photobook games, I swear I saw the same spread legs pose in a catgirl memory game last month. Maybe same artist. Maybe same asset pack.
The difficulty scaling is a joke. Easy mode is four pairs. Four. My dead grandmother could clear that. Medium jumps to like twelve pairs and the cards all look samey because every girl has the same red skin tone and black hair. You end up memorizing nipple placement instead of faces, which I guess is the point. Hard mode is just medium but with a timer that exists only to stress you out. I lost twice because I was staring at a particularly good card instead of flipping the match.
What I wish they'd fix, and they won't, is the lack of a gallery unlock cheat. You still have to grind through all three difficulties to see everything. Some of us have jobs. Also the sound effects are stock Unity clicks. No moans, no music, just click click click. For a hentai game that's almost insulting. The parody tag is doing heavy lifting too, I recognized exactly one character and she was just a red version of a popular anime girl with bigger tits. If you're into the whole devil girl aesthetic and have ten minutes to kill, sure. Otherwise it's another browser tab you'll close before finishing hard mode.
