so i downloaded this thing called sexy santa. the thumbnail promised a real model in lingerie doing a striptease, which is basically my entire personality summed up in a jpeg. the game loads and immediately i'm not looking at a real model. i'm looking at a christmas garland with empty slots and a bunch of symbols floating around. a catcher game. you move a basket left and right to catch falling symbols and place them on the garland. the background has a loop of santa's granddaughters in various states of undress, doing things to each other that would get you on the naughty list permanently.

the disconnect is almost art. you're frantically trying to catch a bell symbol while two women in santa hats are going at it in the background, and your brain just short circuits. the arcade mechanics are basic, like flash game from 2006 basic. the hitbox on the basket feels wrong, slightly too small, and i missed the same star symbol three times in a row. i actually said "come on" out loud to nobody.

the real model tag is technically true? the women are filmed, not drawn, but the video quality has that compressed, slightly pixelated look that makes everything feel like it was shot on a webcam in 2008. which honestly adds to the charm. it's not trying to be polished. the whole thing has this deliberate jank that somehow makes the erotic parts hit different. like finding an old playboy in a cabin. the striptease progresses as you complete levels, more clothing comes off, the lesbian games get more intense. but you're still just catching symbols. the xmas theme is slapped on so thin it's practically see through, just some tinsel and a hat.

i don't know why i kept playing. the gameplay loop is mindless, the sexy stuff is on autoplay, and yet. there's something about the absurdity of it all. you're not participating in the erotic scene, you're just some guy catching ornaments while it happens. a voyeur to both the game and the game within the game. it's stupid. i finished all the levels.

You think you're playing a simulator about fixing a marriage and then suddenly there's mind control and you're watching your wife get railed by some guy named Marcus while a doctor takes notes. The cuckold stuff isn't just there for shock value, it's woven into the conspiracy which is a choice I guess. Some paths have Sophie's tits practically spilling out of everything while she explains how you were never enough, and the writing actually makes you feel the humiliation. The virgin tag is misleading though, Alex is married, but he's so inexperienced and pathetic that it might as well count. There's a moment in the MKULTRA route where you have to choose between looking at evidence or looking at Sophie's ass and the game knows what you'll pick. It always knows. The AI CGs in those scenes are weirdly hot, like someone fed a neural network nothing but hentai and 50s propaganda posters. The game throws you in as this scrawny, bullied guy who’s been kicked around for so long that even your own brain doesn’t trust you, living with a mom who downs wine like it’s water and walks around the house half-dressed, tits almost falling out of her robe in the middle of the day. It’s not subtle about anything. One moment you’re just standing in the hallway watching the way her bra doesn’t quite close in the back, the next you’re sitting across from this neighbor at night with candles, blood-looking wine, and she’s talking about hunger and old rules and the “price of desire” while her hand is on your thigh. The shift from pathetic everyday life to “oh shit, she might be a monster” happens pretty quick, but it works because you kind of want to be eaten anyway. The story plays out like a horny soap opera someone spliced together with a goth comic.
