Sonika Part 1
The suspect interrogation scenes, that's where the real juice is. Princess Sonika has this one guy strung up in the dungeon, some noble who plotted against the crown. The game gives you a choice, and my first instinct was to go for the whip. The way the animation loops, it's not smooth at all, it's kind of janky and the pixels blur together in a way that feels accidental. But there's this moment where the fabric of her dress just, like, phases through her hip for a second. It's so perfectly broken that it loops back around to being hot. It reminded me of sketching a d*** silk gown, using the wrong side of the charcoal to get a smudge effect that somehow makes the whole silhouette feel more alive than a clean line would. You're not just clicking a "torture" button, you're choosing how the seams of this digital character fall apart. The rest of it is a bit of a mess, isn't it? You pick from a list of "characteristics" for Sonika that I guess are supposed to change the story, but half the time I couldn't tell if my choices were doing anything or if the plot was just on a single track with different colored lanterns. I forgot the kingdom was called Lain about three minutes in. There’s this whole fantasy war backdrop, some legendary warrior thing, which is fine, whatever, the text is there. I was way more invested in trying to see if the "stern" personality choice would unlock a different reaction during the... well, during the scenes with the suspects. It didn't seem to. A whole feature that's basically a costume change without the fashion. Speaking of which, that's a design flaw I can't get past. A princess and a warrior, and her default battle gear has zero support structure. Totally unrealistic for any kind of physical exertion. The breastplate might as well be a pasty. I get it's not going for function, but a little internal logic in the garment design would make the deliberate exposure feel more like a choice and less like a default setting. The whole thing runs like a fever dream I had after a late night on Newgrounds, just clicking through flash loops and wondering if my mouse was broken.

Basement Orgy Slave Level 2
You know what i kept thinking about while playing this. That one gif of the guy putting a stick in his own bike wheel spokes. That's this game. I mean the combat is this weird grid based thing where you're supposed to attack then run away to the water fountain to refill energy and it works maybe 40 percent of the time and the rest you just get grabbed and sent back to start. The fountain is the real protagonist here honestly. I spent more time running back and forth to that thing than actually doing anything with Azula which is like. Why am i even here. The game freezes sometimes and the solution is literally a button that says sperm button. Not making this up. That's what you click. And if that doesn't work you just restart. The whole thing feels like it was coded during a fever dream and nobody checked if the fever broke. There's this maze thing with suspects or something but i couldn't tell you what that's about because i was too busy getting teleported back to the beginning every time a monster so much as looked at me. The grid movement is like playing chess against someone who keeps flipping the board. One minute you're positioning yourself all strategic and the next you're at the start screen wondering what just happened. The rpg elements are there i guess. You fight things. Sometimes. When the game decides to let you. I do appreciate that you can't actually lose lose. You just get reset. Which is a weird kind of mercy. Like the game is saying "i will waste your time but i won't let you fail." That's something i suppose. Not a good something but a something.

Venture High [v 0.44]
Fucked my way through the 11th floor last night and honestly the thing that sticks with me isn't the titty physics or whatever. It's the janitor. There's a janitor in this magic school who just stares at you while you're running around trying to get your dick wet and I swear to god he knows something. Never interacts. Just there. Mopping the same spot for eternity like some horny Sisyphus. I spent maybe twenty minutes trying to trigger something with him. Nothing. Game's in alpha so maybe next update they'll let me suck off the custodial staff or at least explain why he's watching me cast Sex Bolt at every woman with a pulse. The Gift of Control. That's your power. Which sounds impressive until you realize it's basically just a magical roofie and you're wandering around this dungeon school propositioning classmates like the worst guidance counselor ever. Two game over screens and one good ending. The bad ends are actually funnier than the win state. One of them you just get vaporized mid-thrust. No warning. Just cosmic horny jail. Respect. The big boob energy here is aggressive. Like physics engine having a stroke aggressive. Every character jiggles like they're made of gelatin and regret. You walk into a room and it's just... anatomy happening everywhere. The adventure high suspects tag is misleading though because there's no mystery to solve unless the mystery is "why does every room have at least three people ready to bang." That's not a complaint. I think. The dungeon crawling is barebones but functional. Floor 7 has a weird dead end that feels like a metaphor for something but probably just unfinished content. The sex scenes trigger abruptly and sometimes the dialogue reads like it was translated through three languages and a concussion. Beautiful. No notes.
