I spent forty minutes just cycling dialogue options with the bartender because her sprite had this idle bounce that was... compelling. The big ass tag is earned. Earned hard. Writing's actually funny in places, when it's not trying to be sexy, which is weird because the sexy parts work better when they're also funny. There's a bit about a mimic chest that I won't spoil but I laughed and then felt weird about laughing. You know how it is.

I clicked on one of the twins by accident and suddenly there's a whole scene where she's on her knees and I haven't even figured out what the blue bar at the top means yet. The game just throws you into this mansion with immortal bloodline politics and everyone wants to either fuck you or use you, sometimes both at the same time which is honestly confusing but also kind of hot. The 3DCG models look a bit stiff when they move, like dolls that learned to walk yesterday, but during the sex scenes they somehow work better. Maybe because nobody's walking anywhere. The male domination tag is strong here, you're the heir to some ancient dynasty and women just sort of... present themselves. There's this one scene with the twins where they're both teasing you in the library and I forgot which dialogue option I picked but suddenly there's vaginal sex happening and I hadn't saved in like twenty minutes. The game autosaves sometimes but not when you need it to. The romance path is weird because you can be sweet one moment and then the slave dynamic kicks in and she's calling you master and I'm sitting there thinking wait weren't we just talking about her dead father. The tonal whiplash is real. The group sex scenes are animated decently enough, the textures on skin look plasticky in certain lighting but the actual movements have a rhythm to them that works. I wish there was more buildup though, sometimes you click one option and it's zero to penetration in three seconds. Where's the tension. The teasing tag is there but it rushes past it like someone skipping foreplay entirely. Still, I kept playing because the political intrigue between the immortal families is actually interesting when the game remembers it exists, which is about sixty percent of the time. The other forty percent is just fucking. Not complaining exactly, just... I don't know what I expected from a game about supernatural dynasties where desire is literally a weapon. Probably exactly this.

Emily Does It All Episode 2 Part 1
The sound design in Emily Does It All is weirdly specific about zippers. You notice it during the first real scene with Nick, that friends with benefits setup where you can practically feel the dorm room's shitty fluorescent light flickering. The zipper sound is too loud, mixed way forward, and it happens every single time clothes come off. Which is often. It becomes this accidental motif, this metallic little promise that the game keeps making and, honestly, mostly keeps. The 3DCG models have that slightly glossy look, like everyone's been lightly oiled, but the facial expressions are where the unpolished thing actually works. Emily's eyes go half lidded in a way that's more believable than most triple A games manage. There's a moment during the sixty nine scene with Claire, the prim and proper one who is absolutely not prim about anything below the neck, where the camera just lingers on Emily's face and you watch her go from nervous to completely gone. The pace is all wrong in the best way. It rushes through setup like it's embarrassed to be a visual novel, then slows to an absolute crawl when hands start wandering. Like a party where someone spilled wine on the carpet and everyone froze, except the wine is arousal and nobody's sorry. The exhibitionism stuff sneaks up on you. One choice has Emily in the library stacks, and the game doesn't make a big deal about it. You just realize halfway through the groping that anyone could walk by. The tension isn't in the act itself, it's in the pauses between dialogue choices where the background noise of the library keeps playing. Footsteps. Someone coughing. The game forgets to have a soundtrack during these moments, which is either brilliant or a bug. I complained to myself about the lip syncing being nonexistent for a solid minute before a new scene started and I forgot entirely because Emily's hand was suddenly somewhere that made the zipper sound happen again and my brain just let it go. The vaginal sex scenes have this particular rhythm where the thrusting animation loops a beat too long, then cuts to a different angle without warning. It's jarring. It's also weirdly hot, like the game is as impatient as the characters.
